ECC Sunday Volleyball League
Welcome to the ECC Sunday Volleyball League, a sports ministry for the Evangelical Chinese Church of Seattle. Started in fall of 2024, SVL offers a fun environment of fellowship in a slightly competitive setting! Our spring season will last 5 weeks and offers 4 weeks of round-robin gameplay and a tournament finale.
Dates: 4.6, 4.13, 4.20, 5.4, 5.17 (Playoffs), 5.18 (Finals)

Registration Details:
- Membership: ECC SVL is only open to regular ECC attendees.
- Minimum Skill Requirements: Intermediate (B)
- I have a thorough understanding of rules.
- I am capable of passing, setting, and hitting, but not always consistently.
- I attempt to get my pass to the setter so they can set to a hitter.
- I can make 3 out of 4 of my serves into the court.
- I have control of my momentum when jumping and land safely on my side of the court.
- I know how to call for the ball to avoid collisions.
- I know I'm not supposed to touch the net for safety reasons.
- I enjoy playing in games where there's a set position for the setter and each person on the team gets a chance to be setter.
- I have good sportsmanship and encourage the other players on the court.

Sign-Up
We want to encourage players to play with new friends, especially those from a different lifestage. So for this season (Spring 2025), we're only providing solo and duo signups so the league organizers can create balanced, intergenerational teams.
- Solo - Individual sign up. You will be matched and placed on a team based off of skill level and availability.
- Duo - Sign up with a friend. You will both be placed on the same team with others based off of skill level and availability. Only one sign up is needed for BOTH players.
